German Smoking Men & Incense Smokers

German smoking men (Räuchermänner) are hand-turned wooden figures from the Erzgebirge. Place a lit incense cone inside and fragrant smoke curls out of the figure's mouth, as if he were puffing on a pipe.

Traditional German smokers became popular in the mid 1800s and are traditionally lit on the last of the 12 days of Christmas to celebrate the gifts of the wise men to baby Jesus. Choose from Santas, hunters, foresters, kings, gnomes and smoking houses, and pair them with our German incense cones.
